Laura has enjoyed playing the piano and singing since she was 11 years old. Her early passion for music lead her through a musical pathway to finally gain a 1st class honours degree in music, specialising in Performance. This, together with meeting and working with inspiring musicians along the way, gave her the foundations to go and excel into the professional gigging world!
Now with 8 years gigging experience behind her, Laura is a driven, passionate performer who enjoys collaborating with the different artists specialising mostly in Jazz, Soul and Pop. With locations ranging from the 606 Club in London, The Boxford Fleece in Sudbury and local venues in and around Norfolk and Suffolk, such as The Assemble House, in Norwich and The Hoste of Jazz at Burnham Market, Laura enjoys the variation that each performance brings.
Alongside her duo work with Paul, Laura is currently performing within a 3-part harmony group called The Voxettes. Within the The Voxettes, Laura is also a session singer, recording for various artists albums such as Speedometer, Myles Sanko and the fantastic American singer Martha High (who was James Browns long standing backing singer!!) This has led to different opportunities such as touring with Martha on her European stretch in Denmark and Norway.
Laura also provides singing and piano tuition to individuals and leads various Gospel and Soul Children’s choirs, sharing her passion for music with others.
